Cookie Policy

We set two strictly necessary cookies, only when you log in or start building. Creator sites get no cookies from us at all.

1. Cookies on startaspect.com

  • aspect_session: set when you log in to an ASPECT account, when you submit your answers while starting to build (so your plan and site are saved before you make your account), or when a buyer logs in to a creator site to reach what they bought. It keeps you signed in and is strictly necessary. It is HTTP-only, sent only over HTTPS, and expires after 14 days or when you log out.
  • aspect_start_email: set when you enter your email to start building, so it is filled in when you make your account. It is HTTP-only, sent only over HTTPS, and is deleted when your account is made or after 14 days.

We don’t use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or cookie-based tracking across sites, so there is no cookie banner to click.

2. Creator sites

  • Page views on creator sites are counted with a first-party request that sends the page, the source (a tracking link’s utm_source or the referring site’s domain) and nothing else. No cookie, no device fingerprint, no identifier is stored in your browser.
  • Checkout happens on Stripe’s pages. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment; see Stripe’s cookie policy.
  • Embedded media. If a creator embeds a video from YouTube, Vimeo or another service, that service may set cookies when the player loads. Those are governed by the service’s own policy.
  • Custom code. Creators can add their own styling to their sites. They are not able to add scripts or trackers through ASPECT.

3. Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you won’t be able to stay logged in.
