Acceptable Use Policy
What can’t be sold or published on a site hosted by ASPECT, how you must treat your buyers, and what happens when this policy is broken. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1. Products and services you can’t sell
- Anything illegal where you or your buyer are, or that requires a licence you don’t hold (including regulated financial, legal, medical or psychological services).
- Investment schemes, trading signals, “guaranteed returns”, crypto or forex programs sold on promised results, and anything offering to manage or move other people’s money.
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid or referral schemes, and programs whose main product is recruiting others into the program.
- Get-rich-quick, “passive income” or income-guarantee programs, and any offer that relies on fabricated earnings claims or testimonials.
- Medical, health, weight-loss or mental-health programs that claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease, or that tell people to stop prescribed treatment.
- Products you don’t have the rights to: pirated courses, copied content, resold templates or media you don’t own, unlicensed music or fonts.
- Sexually explicit content or services, escort services, and dating or companionship services.
- Weapons, drugs, tobacco, vaping and alcohol; gambling, lotteries and sweepstakes; counterfeit goods.
- Academic cheating services, fake reviews or followers, hacking tools, or anything designed to deceive a third party or evade a platform’s rules.
- Anything on Stripe’s restricted businesses list.
2. Content you can’t publish
- Hate, harassment, threats, or content that demeans people for who they are.
- Content that is false and could harm someone: fake credentials, invented results, misleading before-and-afters, fake scarcity or fake discounts.
- Other people’s personal information, images or likeness without their consent. Testimonials must be real and used with permission.
- Content that infringes copyright or trademarks, or that impersonates a person, brand or organisation.
- Malware, phishing, or anything designed to collect credentials or payment details outside checkout.
- Content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative way. This is reported to the authorities.
3. How you must treat your buyers
- Describe what you sell accurately, deliver what you promised, and honour the prices, plans, trials and discounts you set.
- Publish a refund policy and a privacy notice on your site, and follow consumer, privacy and anti-spam law where your buyers live.
- Email only people who signed up on your site. Don’t import, buy or scrape lists. Include a way to unsubscribe.
- Don’t make earnings, health or results claims you can’t substantiate. “Results not typical” doesn’t make an untrue claim true.
- Respond to refund requests and disputes within a reasonable time.
4. Using the platform
- Don’t probe, scan, overload or interfere with the Service, other creators’ sites, or our providers. No scraping, crawling or bulk downloading of other people’s sites or data.
- Don’t reverse engineer the Service, bypass plan limits or access controls, or share one account between several people or businesses.
- Don’t use AI features to generate prohibited content, or in a way that is automated or far beyond normal use.
- Don’t use the Service to build or train a competing product, or resell access to it.
- Custom code (custom CSS) must not hide required information from buyers, inject tracking you haven’t disclosed, or break the site for other people.
5. Enforcement
- We review sites and products when we get a report, when payment risk signals appear, and from time to time on our own.
- Depending on severity we may: ask you to fix something, remove a product or page, pause checkout on your site, suspend your account, or close it. We tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents it.
- Fees are not refunded when we close an account for breaching this policy. Obligations to your buyers remain yours.
- We cooperate with Stripe, payment networks and law enforcement when required.
6. Report a site
If you see a site hosted by ASPECT that breaks this policy, email support@startaspect.com with a link and what you saw. Copyright and trademark complaints are handled under section 13 of the Terms.
